pumpkin scones

pumpkin scone

I made these pumpkin scones from Sweet Pea's Kitchen twice this week.  TWICE!  Jeremy said he doesn't usually like scones (I seriously had no idea), but he loved these.  Maybe it was the fresh pumpkin, but they were incredibly moist.  I only did the first glaze.  They are great without it, too.

Have you been making any pumpkin goodies?

Mmmmm, a moist scone! That sounds worth trying, especially if it tastes as good as it looks. :)

I rarely feel like baking as the weather warms, but I'm sure I'll be making a butternut squash pie for Thanksgiving.

Twice, huh? That sounds like these are real winners, Jen! I love pumpkin, but haven't made anything since returning from my visit with the Little Men. I made pumpkin roll and pumpkin crisp for Alex... he LOVES pumpkin rolls! LOL! I may need to give these scones a try! Thank you. Hope you have a great week. blessings ~ tanna

Drooling... seriously. I love pumpkin! Haven't been making anything with pumpkin lately though. Sometimes I mix it with cream of wheat for breakfast! :)

I love making dishes that require a repeat performance. We so seldom make the same thing twice that when we do, it's truly a "keeper"
